Clamox is a native port on Windows Win32 of the famous antivirus ClamAV widely used on Unix systems : "Clam AntiVirus is an open source (GPL) anti-virus toolkit for UNIX, designed especially for e-mail scanning on mail gateways. It provides a number of utilities including a flexible and scalable multi-threaded daemon, a command line scanner and advanced tool for automatic database updates. The core of the package is an anti-virus engine available in a form of shared library" (taken from ClamAV website at http://www.clamav.net).

Clamox includes ClamAV engine in a Win32 library called "libclamav.dll" ; you can download the "libclamav-win32" package to get it.

But Clamox also provides a set of libraries for using ClamAV under the .Net framework : the package "libclamox-win32" comes with "libclamox.dll" and "libclamoxcs.dll" and gives you a simpliest way to add antivirus feature to your software. See our C# samples.

Last, Clamox Antivirus will be released soon (beta version). It's a standalone antivirus for Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Server with on-access real time scanner, on-demand scanner, automatic database updates. See screenshots of Clamox agent.

Clamox is released under open source GPL licence. It's an unofficial port of ClamAV.
